
4-year BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences
The tremendous expansion of the healthcare industry brings with it a growing demand for trained paramedical professionals. In order to cater to this demand to whatever extent possible, Malir University of Science and Technology offers a BS degree program inClinical Laboratory Sciences. Since the University emphasizes the importance of Health Sciences, it is offering a four-year BS degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences is a testimony to its seriousness and commitment to teaching and research in disciplines, which are extremely important for the development of our country in particular.
The BS program in Clinical Laboratory Sciences will be of 4-years duration. Spread over 8 regular semesters, it would cover 43 courses (144 credit hours). It includes course work, labs and hospitals and offer core and other courses related to health sciences in general and Clinical Laboratory Sciences in particular. In addition, courses on English, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, certain social science courses would also be offered to prepare the students for the highly competitive and challenging jobs in the contemporary health related job markets, and encourage them to transform into inspiring entrepreneurs in the field of health sciences and community development.
Eligibility
- Intermediate (Pre-medical) with 45% marks including first year and A-Levels with minimum 3 passes.
Objectives of the Program
The 4-Year BS degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences:
- The students will not only be highly skilled, motivated, and futuristic, they should also nourish and nurture innovative and creative ideas, and adequately represent our culture and tradition.

- They will be trained through practical mode of teaching and supplemented by rigorous training equipping them with knowledge of the latest techniques and trends.
